Donation Guidelines for Our Resale Shop:

Thank you for considering donating to Clementines Garage! Your generosity helps support our mission and benefits our local community. To ensure that we can make the best use of your donations, please review the following guidelines:

Accepted Items:

  1. Gently Used Clothing: Please donate clean clothing in good condition. We accept items for men, women, and children of all ages. This includes shirts, pants, dresses, skirts, jackets, coats, and seasonal wear.
  2. Shoes: Donate pairs of gently used shoes in wearable condition. We accept all types of shoes, including sneakers, sandals, boots, and dress shoes.
  3. Furniture: We welcome donations of clean, functional furniture pieces. This includes sofas, chairs, tables, desks, dressers, bookshelves, and other home furnishings.
  4. Home Decor Items: Donate decorative items such as vases, lamps, mirrors, artwork, frames, decorative pillows, holiday decor, and other household items in good condition.

Items We Do Not Accept:

  1. Mattresses: Unfortunately, we are unable to accept donations of mattresses due to health and safety regulations.
  2. Used Underwear: For hygiene reasons, we do not accept donations of used underwear.
  3. Used Socks: Similarly, we cannot accept donations of used socks for hygiene reasons.

Additional Guidelines:

  1. Cleanliness: Please ensure that all donated items are clean and free of stains, odors, and pet hair.
  2. Functionality: Furniture and other items should be in good working condition with no significant damage or missing parts.
  3. Safety: We cannot accept items that are broken, damaged beyond repair, or pose a safety hazard.
  4. Seasonal Relevance: Consider the seasonality of your donations. While we accept donations year-round, items relevant to the current season are particularly appreciated.

Donation Drop-off: Donations can be dropped off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during regular business hours. If you have large furniture items or a significant quantity of donations, please contact us in advance to arrange a drop-off time or discuss potential pick-up options.

Disclaimer:

Please note that Clementine's Garage is currently not a registered non-profit organization. Although we are in the process of filing to become a non-profit, we are not yet recognized as such by the relevant authorities. Any contributions or donations made to Clementine's Garage may not be tax-deductible until our non-profit status is officially approved. We are diligently working towards obtaining non-profit status, but until then, we operate as a sole proprietorship.
